Gulabi Kantha Trek is one of the most beautiful and offbeat Himalayan treks located in the Tehri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand. Sitting at an altitude of around 12,400 feet, this trek is known for its stunning natural beauty, the pink Rhododendron (Buransh) forests, and vast green meadows (bugyal) stretching as far as the eyes can see. The trek starts from Nainbagh village, located about 150 km from Dehradun, which is well connected by a motorable road. From Nainbagh, the trail becomes a bit rough but extremely scenic, passing through dense forests, small waterfalls, and open valleys. As you trek higher, the cool shade of oak, deodar, and rhododendron trees gives you a peaceful and refreshing experience.

Our mission has always been to ensure that no trekker steps into the Himalayas without the right perspective. A trek is not just a checklist of summits; it is a serious commitment to the outdoors. Having the right information is what separates a reckless climb from a soulful journey.

This section serves as your definitive manual for the Gulabi Kantha Trek. We have distilled years of mountain experience and real-time feedback into this guide to give you a clear, honest picture of the trail.

We provide this depth of information because we want you to be more than just a visitor—we want you to be a prepared, responsible trekker who respects the mountains as much as we do.

On the way of this trek you see cattle grazing in the grassland accompanied by shepherds. This trek has a unique charm because of the highland meadows.
